We’ve used this platesetter for over a decade with a Heidelberg Speedmaster 102. After mounting the plate, image registration was perfectly aligned. We have plates in stock and are happy to run test imaging upon request.

This is a clean, fast, and fully automated plate production system. The autoloader feeds plates automatically and stacks them after imaging. The system supports remote operation via VNC Remote Desktop.

Our press operator imaged plates himself. He would queue jobs using Kodak XPO Manager, and while printing, the platesetter ran unattended in parallel.

Laser system: 48 fiber laser heads – highly cost-effective and low-maintenance

Over 15 years, we’ve only had to replace a few lasers of 48.

Laser replacement is simple – it takes about 10 minutes.

Fiber splicing is done by telecom technicians and costs around €30.

If a laser fails, the platesetter continues running. Speed may be slightly reduced depending on which laser goes down:

If it’s a side laser – ~2% speed drop

If it’s a central laser – speed may be halved

Compared to expensive Quantum laser heads, operating and maintaining fiber lasers is significantly cheaper and easier.

The platesetter comes with service keys, allowing technically skilled users to service and diagnose the system, as well as adjust performance parameters independently.
